We want you to feel confident in the quality and longevity of your structure. Our products are built primarily from natural timber and are designed to provide years of use when correctly installed, protected and maintained.
Warranty coverage varies depending on whether your structure is supplied factory assembled or as a DIY/flat-packed kit.
This warranty covers:

Warranty Coverage
Factory-Assembled Structures
Factory-assembled structures manufactured and assembled by Woodprofessionals are covered by a 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
The structural warranty covers defective components that affect the structural integrity of the building.
DIY & Flat-Packed Structures
Structures supplied as DIY or flat-packed kits and assembled by the customer or a third party include a 1-year warranty on the supplied wood/materials.
Because the structure is assembled independently, damage or structural issues resulting from incorrect assembly, failure to follow assembly instructions, or an unsuitable foundation are not covered.
Windows, Doors & Hinged Components
Windows, doors and other hinged components include a 1-year warranty against qualifying defects.
Seasonal adjustment of doors, windows and hinges may be required as natural timber responds to changes in temperature and humidity. Normal adjustment is considered maintenance rather than a product defect.
Third-Party Components
Electrical equipment, heaters, hardware, appliances and other components not manufactured by Woodprofessionals are covered according to the warranty provided by their respective manufacturer.
Natural Timber Characteristics
Wood is a natural material and will respond to its environment throughout the life of the structure.
Changes such as minor cracking, checking, shrinkage, swelling, movement, knot changes, resin release and natural color variation can occur as humidity and temperature change.
These characteristics do not necessarily affect the structural integrity or performance of the building and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Foundation Requirements
A properly prepared, stable and level foundation is essential.
The foundation should be suitable for the structure, installation location and local ground conditions. We recommend having the foundation prepared according to the supplied dimensions and the recommendations of a qualified builder or engineer where appropriate.
Damage caused by an inadequate, unstable, uneven or incorrectly constructed foundation is not covered by warranty.
Installation Requirements
DIY structures must be assembled according to the supplied installation instructions.
Incorrect assembly, unauthorized structural alterations or modifications can affect the performance and structural integrity of the building and may void applicable warranty coverage.
Electrical and plumbing connections must be completed by appropriately qualified professionals and in accordance with applicable local regulations.
Exterior Protection & Maintenance
Timber structures require ongoing maintenance.
Exterior timber should be appropriately protected against moisture, sunlight and weather exposure and re-treated as required by the chosen treatment system. Woodprofessionals recommends regular inspection and exterior re-treatment, potentially annually depending on the treatment and environmental conditions.
The owner is responsible for maintaining adequate ventilation, protecting timber surfaces, keeping the roof clear of accumulated snow and debris, inspecting the structure regularly and addressing maintenance issues before they cause additional damage.
Sealants such as silicone are considered maintenance items and naturally deteriorate over time. They should be inspected regularly and replaced when necessary.
What Is Not Covered
Warranty coverage does not apply to damage or deterioration resulting from:
- Incorrect assembly or failure to follow installation instructions
- Improper, unstable or insufficient foundations
- Unauthorized modifications, repairs or alterations
- Normal wear and tear
- Natural timber movement, cracking, shrinkage, swelling, resin or color changes that do not compromise structural integrity
- Failure to properly protect, ventilate or maintain the structure
- Deteriorated sealants or failure to replace them when required
- Extreme or unusual weather, natural disasters or other force majeure events
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents or improper handling
- Damage caused during relocation or repeated transportation
- Damage to third-party components outside their respective manufacturer's warranty
DIY Kit Delivery Inspection
DIY and flat-packed products should be inspected promptly when delivered.
Visible freight damage or missing components should be documented at delivery and noted with the carrier whenever possible. Any discovered shortages or product issues should be reported promptly with photographs and relevant order information.
The manufacturer's terms require certain concealed quality, quantity or component issues to be reported within 5 days of receipt, so I would make this particularly clear in your delivery instructions.
Making a Warranty Claim
If you believe your product has a defect covered by warranty, contact our customer support team with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs or videos showing the problem
- Photographs of the complete structure and installation area
- Any additional information requested to evaluate the claim
The claim will be reviewed to determine the cause of the issue and whether it falls within applicable warranty coverage.
For an approved claim, the appropriate resolution may include repair, replacement of defective components, or another remedy depending on the nature of the issue and applicable warranty terms.

Proper installation, foundation preparation, exterior protection, ventilation and regular maintenance are essential to maintaining your structure and applicable warranty coverage.
